By downloading, installing, or using Mizan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Mizan is an Islamic personal assistant app that provides prayer times, kaza tracking, zakat calculation, tasbih counter, qibla direction, and related features. The app is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
Religious Content Disclaimer
Mizan provides prayer times, zakat calculations, and Islamic guidance based on widely accepted scholarly sources. However, the app is a digital tool and should not be considered a substitute for consulting a qualified Islamic scholar. Users are encouraged to verify important religious matters with their local authorities.
Prayer Time Accuracy
Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical methods and your selected city. While we strive for accuracy, factors such as elevation, atmospheric conditions, and local conventions may cause slight variations. Always verify with your local mosque when in doubt.
In-App Purchases
Mizan offers optional tip jar purchases to support development. These are voluntary contributions and do not unlock additional features. All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
User Data and Privacy
Your use of Mizan is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All personal data, including prayer logs and preferences, is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal information.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and assets in Mizan are the property of Olcay Studio. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Mizan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Olcay Studio is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed prayer times, incorrect calculations, or data loss.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
